RESIN OUTLINES
Our range of acrylic resin outlines can be applied onto wood, glass,
aluminium, stainless steel, ceramic or plastic providing a high
profile professional gloss finish. Available in a range of colours
including leaded light, black, grey, white, gold and silver. All
outlines carry a ten year exterior guarantee. They can be applied
to the surface matter by hand, pump or by automated machinery enabling
any pencil drawing to be recreated onto glass.
The resins can be used to create various thicknesses
of bead widths from 2 to 15 millimetres. The resins are naturally
curing and with the introduction of our faster drying outlines can
now cure 40% quicker than the existing resins we produced.
Outlines are sold in 1 litre, 5 litre and 20 litre quantities.
They each consist of 50% base in one tin and 50% hardener in another
so on 1 litre you will receive 500ml base and 500ml hardener. Once
the resin is mixed together it will start to harden therefore there
is virtually no wastage. Once the resin is on the glass, it will
start to form a skin after about 20 minutes. After an hour this
panel can begin to be coloured or some customers prefer to colour
the next day - it really is your choice. Once the resin is fully
cured on the glass, it really is impossible to get it off.

INFILL COLOURS
Infinite colours are achievable from our range of 10 concentrated
colour pigments which include white, black, red, blue, green, ruby
red, cerise, violet, yellow and brown.. Our colours are totally
UV stable and do not colour fade. Transparent, Opaque and marbled
finishes are easily achieved to create stunning new effects.
With the Sign Industry in mind, we have also introduced glow colours.
When used with black UV lights the colours are highly visible, perfect
as an alternative to neon signs.
Infill colours are available in 125ml or if required can be supplied
in larger volumes. The infill colours are mixed with the colouring
system which comes in a 1.1 mix. As the colours are very concentrate
only a small amount is needed to add colour to a panel. The colours
are applied using a pipette or an application bottle for large amounts
of coloured surface.
The colouring system as stated comes as a 1:1 mix. Approximately
350ml -450ml colouring system will be enough to fully cover a single
square metre of glass. Approximately 5-10ml colour pigment is added
to this depending on the depth of the colour required. The colouring
system contains a flow agent so is quick and easy to apply to the
glass.

SPRAY RESINS
Spray resins are applied in a totally different way to our outline resins and infills - please refer to the spray resin page for full details.

GLASSLINE
Glassline gives a perfectly clear high quality, high profile outline.
Like our other outline resins it is a two part acrylic resin applied
using either our resiflo hand pump or servo cad. Glassline creates
a brilliant cut glass effect without having to use expensive glass
cutting tools. It may also be used to turn a plain stock sheet into
a beautiful beveled glass panel. Glassline can also be used with
our colour pigments to give a fused glass effect to any panel. Glassline
is again a 50:50 mix with base and hardener and is available as
1 litre, 5 litres or 20 litres. Glassline has to be applied using
either the digital hand pump system or the semi automated machinery.
CRAZY BASE
A compliment to our colouring system giving yet another outstanding
effect on any substrate is our Crazy Base Resin. This inexpensive
and simple to use product will again bring countless more options
for you to offer your customers. Crazy Base when used in conjunction
with our infinite range of colours will cure to form a stunning
cracked ice effect. Crazy base is painted onto the glass before
it is coloured. The Crazy Base tin comes with a small brush to enable
you to paint it on. Once the crazy base goes cloudy - usually 10
minutes or so, add the colouring system and colour pigment to it
and you will start to see it 'crack' gicing the crazy effect!!

DIGITAL RESIFLO PUMP
The resin outlines can also be applied using our digital resiflo
pump system. This is used like a pen and the resin is simply dispensed
from a needle which is being traced over a design under glass. The
resiflo pump is quick and easy to use and is ideal for the smaller
user who only wants to create a few panels a day/week. The thickness
of the outline can be altered using the resiflo pump. We sell the
pump seperately or as part of a kit which also includes all of the
resins and colours to manufacture decorative glass.
STARTER BOTTLE KIT
Our starter bottle kit was introduced for the hobbyist and also
for companies who wish to try the resins first before purchasing
a pump/machine. The starter bottle kit includes application bottles
which are used to apply the resin outlines as well as our colouring
system, plasticware and cleaning fluids to enable you to use the
plasticware over and over again.
The first starter kit consists of: 2 litres black resin
outline, 1 set of 10 x 125ml colour pigments, 2 litres colouring
system, 250ml crazy base, 1 litre flushing fluid, 50 x pipettes,
100 x colour pots, 10 x application bottles.

ANCILLARY ITEMS
To compliment our range of resins we also sell glass and machinery
cleaning products along with plasticware to ease the application
of our colouring products, We have a cleaning fluid for the pump
- pump cleaner which comes in 1 litre
tins. This is to be used when you are changing the colour of outline
you are plotting.
Our flushing fluid can be used for
a variety of purposes. Mainly for cleaning out the plasticware for
you to use again and again. Some customers clean their pump with
it but we find the pump cleaner is better whilst other customers
use flushing fluid to clan the glass before applying the resin outline
as they find it removes the oil on the glass quickly and efficiently.
Flushing fluid is available in 1 litre tins.
To apply the colours we sell pipettes
which are used to squeeze the colour onto the glass or plastic and
the colour then finds its own level within the outline. The pipettes
can be washed out and used again. To colour large panels it is recommended
you use application bottles as they
hold 125ml of colour system and are easier to colour large areas.
To mix the colours in we sell colour pots
which are 60ml capacity and are available in packs of 50 or 250.
If mixing larger colours we have beakers
which are sold as 250ml, 500ml and 1 litre capacity.
TIPS
What if I make a mistake? All mistakes
can be rectified. If you make a mistake with the outline, it can
be repaired immediately or you can leave it to dry and correct it
the following day using a small craft knife. If you make a mistake
with the colours, these can be rectified immediately using the pipette.
Alternatively if the mistake is only noticed when the colours are
dry, you can either use the craft knife to cut the colour out or
use grade 0 wire wool over the colour. Once this has been 'rubbed
down' you can go over the repaired area with the 1.1 colouring system
to bring it back up to the perfect panel again.
How can I guarantee I mix the colours correctly
each time? If you are producing a specific colour that you
know you will need again, keep a recipe book of colours and note
down how each one was made. This way you are guaranteed to produce
the same colour the next time you mix the resins.
Am I limited to only flat glass ? No
- we have also plotted the resin onto stipulite glass but ensure
the glass is oil free before using our resin outline and infill
colours. Some customers use our flushing fluid to clean patterned
glass to ensure all oil is removed.
How will I know how much resin to order?
If you have a servo cad machine the software has a costings facility
and can tell you exactly how much resinoutline you will require.
If you are using the system manually we can advise how much colour
infill etc you will require.
