THE PROCESS To make a decorative glass panel from scratch could not be easier using the servo machine or the Wizard resin dispensing machine. Firstly you create your own design using your design software of choice such as Autocad, Corel Draw (8 or previous), Casmate or Flexisign are just a few examples. you may also choose a pre-drawn design from our design libray or from other clipart sources. Import your design into Creative Studio software which automatically converts it into a machine ready file. Load your file onto the dedicated control computer supplied with the wizard machine (or stand alone with the servo). Place your glass panel onto the machine bed, adjust the pump dispense rate to control the width of the outline bead (approximately 2mm - 12mm). Press the start button and the machine will do the rest. Remove the panel and let the resin harden before colouring. The Servo Cad Dispensing machine is one of the fastest plotters for resin on the market today. Plotting any design onto glass, wood etc, it can plot a bead width a thin as 3mm to as thick as 14mm. The Servo Cad Machine is sold world wide with a network of service engineers. The Servo Cad is available in a number of sizes as well as bespoke sizes. The machine operates off single phase power. The servo cad resin dispensing machine has had software specially written for it which allows HPGL or PLT files to be imported into the software and rescaled to the glass or aluminium size. Once these designs are in the software, they do not have to be redrawn if they are to increase in size as the software automotically rescales them at the touch of a button. The software also allows the bead width of the resin to change so you can have a thin outline resin or a thick outline resin. There are a number of items you can manufacture with the resin machines: windows, door, fanlights, mirrors, kitchen doors, signage and giftware. Various designs and sizes of glass can be produced on the machine at any one time so you do not have to keep going back to alter the glass. Once the design and size are saved in the machine, you can produce the same panel over and over again just by the touch of a button. Decorative glass has never been easier with the resin machines as the software also allows a costings facility to be operated where it can calculate the amount of outline you will need to produce your panels. If a customer breaks a design/window - this is not a problem. Simply go back to the machine, pull up the file originally plotted and plot it over again - this will be an exact replica of the first panel. Full maintenance training is given with the machine however there is minimal maintenance needed to be carried out.
The Wizard Machine The Wizard Machine has been introduced as a less expensive alternative to the Servo Machine. The Alpha Wizard still produces decorative designs in the same way with the same finished panels. The Wizard machine runs on a rack and pinion drive and comes with an aluminium top and steel legs.
