A Glaze Bioprotection is our new high performance, safe antimicrobial additive. Once sprayed or wiped onto a surface it will kill all living bacteria on that surface. Bioprotection is great for all industries especially hotels, hospitals, medical practitioners, restaurants and schools where germs can be passed easily from surface to surface.

Bioprotection has been at the forefront of the fight against MRSA. Tests have shown that Bioprotection has successfully killed the bug where lesser anti bacterial sprays have failed.

Bioprotection products contain silver ions, a natural anti-microbial with high efficency against over 50 different organisms including bacteria, moulds, yeasts and fungi. The unique slow release technology in Bioprotecion products allow for the silver to work over an extended period of time.

The Mechanisms that make Bioprotection work are:

1 It destroys the outer membrane of the germ resulting in cell death

2 Silver enters the insideof the germ via microscopic channels and destroys the liquid (cytoplasm) inside the cell

3 Silver interferes with the DNA replication process causing the germ's inability to replicate: if a germ cannot reproduce, it cannot spread.

Air conditioning puifier, deodorising and sanitiser

Over the course of many years, air conditioning systems for both domestic and work premises have become more sophisticated but the basic principles have remained the same: cold air circulating in warm climates or warm air in cold climates. In the summer period the amount of condensate often increases and the elevated temperatures increase mircobial proliferation. In the winter period people carry more colds, flu viruses and other ailments into the environment. Within all air conditioning systems there remains the problem of condensation. This not only occurs at the condenser, which is there to remove water in the system but also in the ducting itself. In order to filter out micro organisms a filter size of 0.2 microns is required. Most aircon filter systems operate within a minimum of 1 micron. This will take out pollen and dust but not bacteria, viruses and the like.

Over the last two years we have been working on this problem and have now perfected a very easy to use product that eliminates virtually all of bacteria and airbourne germ related viruses. The simply application only takes a couple of minutes to apply during a routine service call and will provide the following on going protection.

- Kills bacteria, moulds, fungi and viruses including colds, flu and MRSA

- Prevents re growth of micro organisms

- Kills all bad odours resulting in long lasting odour control

Bioprotection Surface spray

A Glaze silver surface spray is available in 500ml trigger. Again it can be sprayed onto a surface and will remain for up to 50 washes of that surface. This is ideal for schools, hospitals and public area such as restaurants and hotels.

Bioprotection Bath Gel

Our bath gel has been tested and tests have shown that when bathing in Bioprotection Bath Gel for 5 minutes or longer, traces of MRSA will be 99.9% successfully killed ont he body. This is a marvellous breakthrough for hospitals and care homes where patients are constantly being washed to avoid the spread of germs. Bioprotection bath gel is available in 250ml bottles or 500ml containers.

Hand Cream

Our Bioprotection hand lotion works in the same way as the bath gel but is literally rubbed onto the hands. Our hand lotion is available in 250ml, 50ml tottle to hang from uniforms for easy application or as a 800ml doypack to be placed into a dispenser. Unlike many industrial hand cleaners, our Bioprotection hand lotion is an intense moisturiser so will not leave the hands dry and cracked is used all the time.

Refuse Container Purifier

This Bioprotection spray will purify the refuse container, killing all bacteria and eliminating putrefield smells associated with decomposing waste, leaving an odour free wheelie bin or dustbin. We recommend a monthly application. Available in 500ml trigger spray.

Washing Machine Additive

When washing machine additive is added to the wash cycle, it gives anti-microbial protection to all the clothes washed for up to 50 washes. It reduces odour causing Pseudomonas bacteria and protects against S.Aureus, E.Coli and Salmonella. Available in 500ml or 1 litre, washing machine additive is ideal for hospital laundries, hotel personnel uniforms, bed linen and hand towels.

Wet Wipes

Once wiped onto a surface, wet wipes will prevent re growth of over 50 different organisms including moulds, mildews, yeasts, fungi and algae on that surface for up to 3 months. Bioprotection wet wipes are available as standard or instant. Both varieties contain silver ion technology however the instant has the added benefit of a water washable, non - corrosive, non sticky biocide to give a more immediate 5 minute kill when the circumstances demand. Available in 200 and 400 wipes - also available as large or small.

Fogging machine and fogging solution

Once an area has been treated with Bioprotection fogging solution, the product will prevent the re-growth of over 50 different organisms including moulds, mildews, yeasts, fungi and algae on that surface for up to 3 months. Fogging machine solution is available as a non deodorising or deodorising solution. Perfumes may be added on request. The solution is available in 1 litre or 5 litre containers whilst the fogging machine is available as large or small. Ideal for hotel rooms which suffer from musty smells.

Odours common in domestic, industrial, institutional, veterinary and agricultural premises as well as in transportation generally arise from two sources; biodegradation and chemical. Removal of odours as opposed to masking of odours must address both of these sources. In some cases the odour can arise from both the chemical and its biodegradation when the chemical itself is a nutrient for biological activity.

This fluid uses the biocidal and bio-inhibitory properties of silver combined with a blend of deodorising chemicals. The fluid can be used to generate mists or fogs by use of mechanical application as in the fogging machine system. The fluid is safe to use on most surfaces.

The fogging system is mobile, versatile and effective to use. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use, it sanitises, disinfects and provides odour control, pest control and humidity creation solutions. It is made from a safe, high capacity, rustproof, lightweight material enabling it to be portable. It is CE approved.

Foot Deodoriser

The foot deodoriser is available as a 120ml spray bottle and once sprayed onto the foot or inside the shoe prevents the growth of bacteria and stops the spread of foot fungi such as athletes foot.

Canine Shampoo

The Biorpotection canine shampoo is available as a 250ml pump action bottle. This can be used on all canine especially those with sensitive skin and will reduce itching and skin irritations.

Bioprotection products have many benefits over organic systems which have traditionally been the popular choice of the market over previous years. The antimicrobial is not associated with side effects which are often seen with organic systems such as skin rashes. The problems occur with the organic systems due to high mobility of organic modules, which also result in a shortened product life.
